Devlog 3 Update
What’s Done:

Hands & Animations:
- Added hands and their animations.
- Animations react to jumping, running, walking, and walls ahead.
- (Next step: Completing interactions with boxes.)

New Features:
- Added the ability to pet the cat.
- Fully functional inventory and a storage chest in the living room.
- Computer System:
- The computer is now functional.
- It will provide instructions and serve as a terminal for inserting floppy disks that reveal lore.
- (Next step: Adding the floppy disks.)

Visual Improvements:
- Shaders now include shadows (previously missing).
- Added a light PSX-style fog for atmosphere.

Elevator Logic:
- Added checklists to verify box accuracy.
- Incorrect boxes will now trigger negative events.
- (Next step: Adding these events.)

Day Cycle System:
- The cycle now ends when the player returns to their room and sleeps.
- Added a sleep animation and camera transition during sleep.
- (Next step: Adding sleep-related events.)

Level Design:
- Doors have been placed across all levels.
- The final level still requires texturing, followed by adding details and props.
- Models for hostile creatures are ready; implementing their behavior is next.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed minor issues, such as inventory not opening correctly.

Narrative Progress:
- Added the first player interaction with the system:
- "Follow instructions or die."
- This serves as both a narrative hook and a way to ensure players read the rules, controls, and mechanics.
