Devlog Update

Important Notice: My Twitter account has been hacked, and I no longer have access to it. Support has not been helpful. If you receive any messages from it, they are not from me.

What’s Done:

  • Lobby Level: Improved and refined.
  • Movement Mechanics:
    • Character can now crouch.
    • Walking backward is slower than moving forward.
  • Inventory System:
    • Added inventory and a chest in the main room for storing items.
  • Damage Effect:
    • When the player loses health, the screen turns black and white.
  • Boxes and Events:
    • Various box types, their contents, and related events have been implemented.
  • NPC Development:
    • Created a non-playable character with a backstory, interactions, and dialogue.
  • Elevator System:
    • Full control over floor selection.
    • Mini-game with an electrical panel (triggered during elevator malfunctions).
  • 3D Models:
    • Object models are ready—next step: integrating them into the game.
    • Angler monster model is complete—next step: implementing its behavior.

Next Steps:

  • Further story development.
  • Implementing the computer as a narrative element.
  • Adding interactive screens to display system messages.
